August month in review!

Pink: In the Bathroom

I have done a few colour consultations lately where I have recommended a pink paint colour in the bathroom.  Not a bright, kid’s room pink, but a more subtle or neutral pink.  Pink works well with gray or white tiles, gray marble and white fixtures.  And it’s true, you do look good in a pink room!

Remember when  Brooke at Velvet and Linen gave us a sneak peek of her bathroom painted in Farrow and Ball’s Pink Ground.

Then Sarah at Quintessentially B posted this bathroom belonging to Stella Tenant:

I don’t know who Gingerella is, but the inspirational images on her tumblr site are beautiful.  (There was no link to the designer however – does anyone know ?)

And let’s not forget Martha’s guest cottage in Maine where subtle shades of pink were used skilfully throughout the house.
