We are now heading into our summers... the temperatures go soaring high!! Placing contains of grains & water at various locations help birds survive the hot summers... As the mercury will be soaring to 40 next month, birds find it difficult to even find water... As a result... many of them die!!

This summer, I'm gifting bird baths to all my friends. The girls & I are making a little brochure for school and for each of their school mates ... We are hoping they will take it home and have a little bird bath in their homes!! And in turn I can only hope, that we will save a few of these little birdies...
Here is my little attempt at providing them with water... On a trunk in the garden is this bowl, that I've converted into a bird bath.. This summer, I also intend to keep a bowl of grains...
I'm currently on the look out for another bird bath for the terrace as well... I was hoping to find something with a small bowl for grains and some shade.. When I find one.. I'll post pics soon..
