Over the weekend, we said a happy goodbye. My husband and his dad took down the ceiling fan in our family room. Maybe this is a minor “home improvement” but one that I’ve been anxiously awaiting since we moved in. . .
See the problem? Look in the mirror. Yep, it was everywhere I looked and it irked me every time I looked at it. I’m not anti-ceiling fans completely, but this particular one and I didn’t hit it off from the start.
I don’t even have a replacement overhead light (still trying to decide if I even need one), so we’re just going to cap off the hole for now. Overall, it makes the room feel bigger and I can breathe again.
My husband doesn’t usually get why these little things bother me so much, but I know you do :) So, my decorating friends, what’s the one thing in your house now that’s “irking” you right now?
