We are the official owners of a piano. It’s getting delivered later today. We are excited—although not a single one of us can play.
I grew up with a piano in the house. My mom can play anything, and for five years, she put me in lessons, convinced I would follow in her footsteps. Many tears later (mainly on my part), she gave up on my piano-playing career. (Thankfully, my sister stuck with lessons and plays beautifully now. . . )
So, like my mom, here I am, convinced that at least one of our five kids will be musically inclined. And, of course, I’ve been searching for pictures of rooms showing how pianos can casually and effortlessly fit into one’s decor. Here are a few beautiful examples:

It was harder than I expected to find good examples. If you’ve pinned any, feel free to share!
Do you have a piano in your home? In case you’re wondering, ours is going here. (Yes, that little spot is changing once again.)
